Latest Express Entry Draw Targets Provincial Nominee Candidates
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new round of invitations through the Express Entry system, continuing its focus on candidates nominated by Canadian provinces and territories.
In this latest draw, IRCC issued 681 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). As expected for PNP-specific rounds, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score remained high, reflecting the additional 600 CRS points awarded to provincially nominated candidates.
To be eligible for this draw, candidates were required to:
Have a minimum CRS score of 746; and
Have created their Express Entry profile on or before November 19, 2025, at 4:09 a.m. (UTC).
This draw highlights the continued importance of provincial nominations within Canada’s immigration strategy. Candidates who secure a provincial nomination significantly enhance their chances of receiving an ITA through Express Entry, even in competitive rounds.
The latest PNP-focused selection reinforces the role of provinces and territories in addressing regional labour market needs while offering skilled workers a strong pathway to Canadian permanent residence.
