Yukon to implement intakes for Yukon Nominee Program applications in 2025
Under the new intake-based approach for the Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) in 2025, the program will accept a fixed number of applications during each intake period. The first intake is set to open on January 29, 2025, and will allow a maximum of 125 applications for nominations. Once this cap is reached, the YNP will cease accepting applications until the next intake period.
The YNP plans to hold quarterly intakes throughout the year, although a specific schedule has not yet been set. The frequency and size of future intakes will depend on the number of nomination allocations Yukon receives from the Canadian federal government. In light of this, Yukon has requested an increase in its allocation for 2025, which could influence the number of applications accepted in future intakes.
