The province of Alberta continues to strategically invite skilled foreign workers to support its growing economy through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).In two recent draws conducted on June 20 and June 25, 2025, Alberta issued a total of 133 invitations to candidates with experience in Construction and Agriculture two critical sectors facing labour shortages.
Draw Details:
June 25, 2025 – Construction Sector (Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors)
Number of invitations issued: 15
Minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score: 67
Target group: Skilled workers with construction-related experience under Alberta’s Express Entry-aligned stream.
This draw underscores Alberta’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure development by attracting construction professionals with in-demand skills such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and heavy equipment operation.
June 20, 2025 – Agriculture Sector (Alberta Opportunity Stream)
Number of invitations issued: 118
Minimum selection score: 52
Target group: Workers with backgrounds in farming, livestock, agronomy, greenhouse production, and other agricultural specializations.
