According to information released by the British Columbia PNP, the province issued invitations to apply (ITAs) to candidates under two main entrepreneur pathways:
1.Entrepreneur Immigration – Base Category
Designed for seasoned entrepreneurs intending to establish or invest in a business in B.C.
Typically requires:
A personal net worth of $600,000 CAD or more
Investment of at least $200,000 CAD into a new or existing business
Active day-to-day management
Creation of at least one full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
2.Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot
Tailored for entrepreneurs planning to open businesses in smaller B.C. communities (populations under 75,000)
Requires a lower investment and net worth:
Minimum personal net worth of $300,000 CAD
Minimum investment of $100,000 CAD
Must work closely with the community and receive a referral before applying

While B.C. does not publicly list individual candidates, the province has confirmed that invitations were issued to applicants who:
Met the minimum points threshold for each stream
Submitted complete and eligible registrations
Demonstrated strong business plans aligned with community needs or economic priorities
