On October 8, 2024, Ontario held three draws under the Employer Job Offer
On October 8, 2024, Ontario held three draws under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker (EJO FW) Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), issuing a total of 1,728 invitations to apply (ITAs). The highlights of these draws are:
- Skilled Trades Professionals: 885 ITAs were issued to candidates in targeted skilled trades occupations, with a minimum score of 48.
- Other Priority Occupations: 841 ITAs were issued to candidates in additional priority occupations, with a minimum score of 52.
- Economic Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP): Two ITAs were issued in a targeted draw through this project.
All invitees had profiles created between October 8, 2023, and October 8, 2024. This brings Ontario’s total invitations for 2024 under the OINP to 42,592.
This draw reflects Ontario's focus on addressing labour market needs by targeting both skilled trades and other critical sectors.
