Australia Increases Visa Application Charges from 1 July 2025
As of 1 July 2025, the Australian Government has officially updated the Visa Application Charges (VAC) for most visa subclasses. These changes reflect the annual CPI (Consumer Price Index) adjustment, typically around 3%, and are rounded to the nearest AU$5. However, some categories especially the Student Visa have seen increases well above the CPI benchmark.
This update is significant for prospective migrants, students, and sponsoring employers planning to lodge applications under various subclasses in the 2025–2026 financial year.
