Canada Invites 4,000 Healthcare and Social Services Professionals in Latest Express Entry Draw
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new category-based Express Entry draw, inviting 4,000 healthcare and social services professionals to apply for permanent residency in Canada.
This draw, held on July 23, 2025, was part of IRCC’s ongoing effort to address critical labor shortages in Canada’s healthcare sector by attracting qualified international talent.
To be eligible for this round, candidates needed to meet the following criteria:
A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 475
An active Express Entry profile created before 1:08 p.m. UTC on March 13, 2025
This draw is a continuation of Canada's targeted Express Entry approach, prioritizing candidates with professional experience in key sectors such as nursing, caregiving, medical technology, and social work.
