The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) has commenced issuing invitations for its 2025 intake following a competitive Expression of Interest (EOI) process that concluded on April 22, 2025. This year's intake saw a significant response, with 502 eligible submissions received, of which 392 aligned with the territory's identified priorities
Key Highlights of the 2025 YNP Intake:
Nomination Cap: Yukon has been allocated a maximum of 215 nominations for 2025, a 50% reduction from the previous year's allocation.
Priority Categories:The program is prioritizing candidates who:
Have lived and worked in Yukon for at least one year
Are graduates of Yukon University
Are Francophone or French-speaking and have taken their required language test in French
Have received a Temporary Measure Letter of Support .
Selection Process: Employers of candidates with a Temporary Measure Letter of Support are being invited first. Remaining slots are being filled through a random selection from qualifying submissions that meet one or more of the priority criteria.
Notification: Selected employers are being contacted with instructions on how to submit a full application. Employers whose submissions were not selected will be notified accordingly.
