IRCC Invites 1,000 Canadian Experience Class Candidates in Latest Express Entry Draw
Ottawa, October 28, 2025 – Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in its latest Express Entry draw, targeting candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) stream.
The Canadian Experience Class is designed for skilled workers who have gained professional work experience in Canada, offering them a fast-track pathway to permanent residence (PR).
Candidates eligible for this round were required to meet the following criteria:
A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 533
An Express Entry profile created before 4:16 a.m. (UTC) on March 21, 2025
This draw reflects Canada’s ongoing focus on welcoming skilled professionals with Canadian work experience, supporting the country’s labour market needs and economic growth.
What This Means for Applicants?
With the CRS cut-off at 533, candidates who meet the requirements now have the opportunity to advance their PR applications. Those who have not yet submitted profiles are encouraged to review their CRS scores and explore ways to improve their eligibility, including gaining additional work experience, completing language tests, or obtaining provincial nominations.
IRCC continues to hold targeted Express Entry draws, focusing on different streams such as the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), Healthcare and Social Services, and French-language proficiency, reflecting Canada’s strategy to attract a diverse pool of skilled immigrants.
