Newfoundland and Labrador Conducts Latest Immigration Draw – July 29, 2025

Latest Newfoundland and Labrador Immigration Draw – July 29, 2025

Newfoundland and Labrador held its sixth provincial immigration draw of the year on July 29, inviting skilled candidates under two key immigration streams:

100 invitations were issued under the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP)

50 invitations were issued under the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)

In total, 150 candidates received invitations in this round.
This marks the lowest number of invitations issued in a single draw since the province adopted the Expression of Interest (EOI) system for both programs.

While AIP invitations have remained steady, the drop in NLPNP invitations signals a shift in draw trends compared to earlier in 2025.

Year-to-Date Progress

So far in 2025, 1,818 total invitations have been issued by the province:

1,495 under NLPNP

323 under AIP

With a total allocation of 2,050 nomination spaces for the year, Newfoundland and Labrador still has 555 spaces remaining under the NLPNP for 2025.
