IRCC Invites 302 PNP Candidates in Latest Express Entry Draw
October 27, 2025 | Ottawa
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 302 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the latest Express Entry draw, targeting candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
To be considered in this round, candidates were required to have:
A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 761; and
An Express Entry profile created before 2:14 a.m. (UTC) on September 26, 2025.
This draw marks the second PNP-specific invitation round in October 2025, demonstrating Canada’s continued commitment to welcoming skilled workers who have received provincial nominations to address regional labour market needs.
The PNP stream allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate candidates who possess the skills, education, and work experience needed to contribute to their local economies. Once nominated, candidates receive an additional 600 CRS points, significantly increasing their chances of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residence.
Recent Express Entry Activity
This draw follows a series of recent targeted invitation rounds conducted by IRCC:
October 28, 2025: Canadian Experience Class (CEC) – 1,000 ITAs | CRS 533
October 15, 2025: Healthcare and Social Services – 2,500 ITAs | CRS 472
October 6, 2025: French Language Proficiency – 4,500 ITAs | CRS 432
The frequent issuance of draws across multiple categories reflects Canada’s diversified immigration strategy, designed to fill skill gaps in key sectors such as healthcare, trades, and education, while also promoting regional economic growth through the PNP.
Outlook
With Express Entry draws becoming increasingly specialized, experts advise potential applicants to ensure their profiles are up to date and to explore provincial nomination opportunities as a viable pathway to permanent residence.
