OINP Invites Candidates under EJO
On January 15, 2025, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued invitations to apply (ITAs) under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker (EJO: Foreign Worker) stream. This targeted draw was aimed at a select group of candidates who are eligible for the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP). Specifically, 4 invitations were extended to candidates who may qualify for the federal EMPP project under this stream. The EMPP is designed to help skilled refugees and other displaced individuals with job offers in Canada to transition into permanent residency.
Candidates who receive an ITA under this stream may be eligible for provincial nomination through Ontario's immigration program, which can significantly enhance their chances of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residency through the federal Express Entry system.
