Subclass 575 Student Visa(Equivalent to ELICOS Visa)

Purpose:For international students wishing to study in Australia in the following:

Non-award foundation studies course

Other full-time courses (or components) that do not lead to an Australian award

Visa Requirements:

Enrollment:Must be enrolled or accepted in a full-time course registered with CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students).

Genuine Intention:Must prove intent to enter Australia to study and leave after course completion.

Medical Examination:Required before applying.

Financial Capacity:Must have sufficient funds for tuition fees and living expenses for self and dependents, aligned with Australian living standards.

Health Insurance:Must have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for all included applicants.

English Proficiency:Must meet the required English language ability as per visa type guidelines.

Qualification:Meet the minimum threshold qualification set by the education provider.

Good Conduct:Must demonstrate good moral character.

Under 18 Applicants: Need legal guardian’s permission for study in Australia.

Academic Records:Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent (school reports, academic records required).

No Outstanding Debt:Must have no pending debt with the Australian government.

Respect Australian Values: Must agree to Australian values statement.

Visa Privileges:

Full-time study allowed.

Dependents can join if they can support themselves financially according to local living standards.

You can work unlimited hours once your course starts.

Family members can also work unlimited hours after course commencement.

Accompanying partner can study for up to 3 months; studying longer requires a separate student visa.
