1. Eligibility Criteria:

Before you begin your application, ensure all of the following apply:

Held an eligible provisional business visa
You must hold one of: Subclass 160, 161, 162, 163, 164 or 165.

Residency requirement
Lived in Australia for at least 12 months out of the 2 years immediately prior to applying.

Business commitment
.Demonstrated a genuine intent to continue your business investment in Australia.

.Good character & health.
.You and your partner must meet Australia’s health and character standards (police clearances, medical exams).

.No government debt.
.You must not have outstanding debts to the Australian government or you must have a repayment arrangement in place.

Business ownership & turnover
Over the 12 months prior to applying, you must hold, in Australia, at least:

51% of a business with annual turnover < AUD 400,000, or

30% of a business with annual turnover ? AUD 400,000, or

10% of a publicly listed company.

At least two of the following must also be met:

Net personal/business assets ? AUD 100,000 for the 12 months before applying.

Net personal + business assets ? AUD 250,000 over that period.

Employed at least one full-time Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent resident (non-family) for 12 months.

Your principal or two combined businesses generated ? AUD 300,000 turnover in the past 12 months.
